  Change is the only constant. The pandemic saw many changes, the transformation in the way we shop. A lot of our shopping activity became online and this extended to all our requirements.

  RusTeak sells furniture, décor and accessories online. Going to the Ecommerce space was a brave decision but seemed like the only thing to do. Boot strapped and faced with the pandemic, online furniture store was the practical solution.

  Teakwood furniture, we had but the fact that it was priced at a premium, the reach had to be to the correct target audience. Over the years the wood has evolved and crafting of furniture has also seen a change. There is a furniture for every occasion. We have seen carvings in our historical places having a high seating and a foot stool. Thrones went with position of authority; Beds made of teakwood – simple beds, four poster beds, with night stands or side tables. Jhulas in our courtyard which has now transformed to our balcony jhula. Older Jhula was a wooden plank tied or suspended on a tree. Now we have slender metal suspenders chains or rodsthat’s fitted in our balconies or our lounge cum sitting rooms. RusTeak creating teak wood jhulas in various designs that we can talk about.

  The seat is foamy and comfortable with upholstery done in washable cotton fabric, comfortable and practical.
