Socializing Kids Early Through Summer Day Camp

    The importance of socializing kids early in their lives can be easily and happily accomplished through their attendance at a summer day camp. Even the most timid of children can be drawn out by competent and caring experienced counselors. The staff is always there to guide the children as they participate in the almost endless number of fun activities, make friends, learn new challenges and how to cooperate with others in team play.     A summer day camp is an exciting experience and a totally appreciated change from the structure of the school year. Depending on the child's age, a choice of half day or full day options are available.

    A day camp for kids is set up with a schedule that is appropriate for each age group as well as group activities that everyone can enjoy. That scheduling is geared toward making it effortless to join in because the child feels comfortable and able to take part.

    Preschool and Kindergarten

    Two, three or five day programs are designed for the youngest campers, ages three through five. Skill development and confidence are promoted through both active and relaxed opportunities such as sports, swimming, the arts, gymnastics and more and then slowing down with quiet games and a story time.     First Through Seventh Grade

    An action-packed day camp for kids overflows with activities and provides chances to discover new interests or take part in already-favorite activities and create friendships while having fun. The wide variety of activities includes sports, swimming, boating, fishing, gymnastics, karate, the arts and more.

    Campers are given the opportunity to choose things to do based on personal interests such as nature, gardening, yoga, lego robotics, astronomy, magic and many other options.

    Fitness & Sports

    The programs are individualized to meet the interests of campers with varied athletic abilities. Some of the sports offered are softball, basketball, soccer, Lacrosse, football, beach volleyball, archery, mini-golf and more.

    Creativity and The Arts

    Campers are encouraged to express their creativity and use their imagination in Drama, Dance, Music, Ceramics, Arts and Crafts, Puppet Making, Jewelry Making, Macrame, Tie Dyeing Shirts, Balloon Sculpting, Wood Carving Sculptures and others.

    Water Activities

    Swimming, diving, boating, kayaking and water slides are some of what is offered. Campers usually swim twice a day with a 30-minute lesson in the morning and an hour of free swim time in the afternoon. Bio Catering service St-Laurent

    Swimming instruction is given by highly trained and experienced Certified Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards. These lessons may be in Olympic-sized heated pools that were specifically designed with shallow areas for beginning swimmers and deeper water and diving areas for the more advanced swimmers.
