However, there will always be some common quality problems, even after careful selection. To attract customers, many manufacturers cut costs. Due to these low prices, inferior materials and workmanship are used rather than technological innovation, negatively impacting LED track lights’ quality. The following are a few of those issues.
There are several reasons why LED track lights flicker.
LED driver and LED light board is not compatible. When operating normally, the voltage and current of a 1W lamp bead are 3.0 to 3.4 volts.
Flickering light sources are caused by chips that are not fully powered, and the current is too high when the lamp bead chips are not fully powered.
If the lamp bead is not strong enough to withstand the voltage, it will turn on and off. In severe cases, the lamp beads may be burned. The led chips need to be matched with a new LED driver.
There is a problem with the power supply on the drive. Replace the power supply with a similar one.
The lamp’s shell does not dissipate heat. The driving power supply provides over-temperature protection, but the heat dissipation performance of the lamp material cannot meet the requirements, so the phenomenon of flashing and flashing will occur when the driving over-temperature protection becomes active. When a track light’s heat performance is poor, it is hard to replace it. Therefore, you should opt for LED track lights with aluminum bodies.
