Last Friday, game director Ion Hazzikostas said phase 2 of WoW Classic would come later this year, but one piece of content has been sped up for release to next week. Hazzikostas hosted a video Monday of new content coming to both WoW Classic and Battle For Azeroth, and he revealed that Dire Maul will be coming the week of Oct. 15.  Dire Maul is a high-level dungeon first released prior to the Burning Legion expansion back in 2005. It's a three-wing high-level instance that will have more enemies and more loots for WoW Classic players.

Dire Maul is an ancient night elf city located in Feralas and split into three different zones. The dungeon will arrive on the WoW Classic live servers on Oct. 15, ahead of the release of phase two. The specific date for the next phase has yet to be revealed, but it’s anticipated to be in November or December, similar to the timeline of the original game 15 years ago. In addition, our site rvgm.com has a large quantity of safe world of warcraft classic gold for sale.

The Dire Maul Dungeon isn’t guaranteed for the actual day of October 15, so we still don’t know exactly when it will open its gates. Game director Ion Hazzikostas provided the update as part of a new video vlog released by Blizzard. And it sounded like more content will quickly follow after the launch of Dire Maul, although this might be saved for BlizzCon in early November. For now, Phase 2 is expected to include Azuregos and Kazzak going live following the launch of Dire Maul.

WoW Classic's phases are still in play: The honor system and world bosses will be "just around the corner" following the Dire Maul rollout, and a solid date will be announced "as soon as we have it," Hazzikostas says. "But we can't wait to see everybody jump into Dire Maul. Hazzikostas also announced, among other things, that a pair of new races (including adorable little foxes!) are coming to the game. We'll have more on that in just a bit so stay tuned.
