Once you configure McAfee backup drive provided by McAfee, you can find McAfee Backup Drive in your Windows Explorer. It contains a backup destinations list from where your file backed up via McAfee.com/activate


Once you configure backup after that you can view the McAfee Backup Drive. Using this McAfee Backup Drive you can view the files that are backed up. McAfee activate 25 digit code



If you backed up your files to a USB/ external hard drive/ Cd/DVD/ thumb drive, then to view the files on the McAfee Backup Drive you have to connect that device to your computer. then only you can view the files.

2 Go to Windows Explorer

3 Click on McAfee Backup Drive.

4 Select the backup destination

5 Go to the backup set that contains the files that you backed up earlier.

How to restore a file from McAfee Backup Drive :


1 Go to Windows Explorer

2 Click on McAfee Backup Drive.

3 Select the backup destination

4 virgate to the backup set destination that contains the file that you backed up.

5 Go to the backup set that contains the files that you backed up earlier.

6 Right-click to select the files to restore in McAfee Backup Drive

7 Click Restore. The files are restored to the original location by overwriting the existing files.

8 Right-click to select the files to restore in the McAfee Backup Drive

9 Click Restore to then you can choose to restore your files to anywhere you want.



How to delete a file from a backup set on the McAfee Backup Drive :


1 Go to Windows Explorer.

2 Click McAfee Backup Drive.

3 Select the backup destination.

4 Go to the backup set destination that contains the file that you backed up.

5 Right-click to select the files to delete, and then click Delete.

6 Select the file, and then click Delete
