Grid-connected Solar led street light(Classic)
https://www.classicledlight.com/product/led-solar-street-light/ and power systems use average values to determine the size of the system. The average number of hours of sunshine is used to calculate the available sun in your area, and the system adjusts to that size. They also use average night length and average power consumption.
For example, if you have 100 watts running around the clock and work an average of 4.5 hours a day, you need about 750 watts of solar energy. When the sun is stronger and you have more available sun, this will power the grid more than you are using. When the sun is not so strong, the system pulls energy out of the grid to counteract what the panel can't do.
This is an application for a grid-connected system, how it is designed for most homes and buildings that are still connected to the grid. If less solar energy is installed, the system only offsets a certain percentage of the total electricity consumption, but in either case, the system should not fail because the grid power still exists.
