Dr. Buckley completed his PhD while working as a Research Doctor at ICLDC between 2014 and 2017. During this time his areas of interest were the interactions between gut hormones and complications of Diabetes, local causes of vitamin D deficiency and its impact on bone and cardiovascular health, genetic lipid disorders, early detection of type 1 diabetes, fatty liver disease, and the effects of diet on blood glucose control; this research was published in international journals and presented at local and international conferences.

Dr. Adam Buckley is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist with expertise in treating Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders.
