Fix anti-malware stopped working on the system

  Malwarebytes will not open to start the work on your device. You are left with no choice but to click "Close the Program" as Windows does not guarantee it will. Relying on this could prove costly.

   

  Malwarebytes Antimalware has stopped functioning error

   

  This can be fixed by completely deleting MBAM with the Malwarebytes cleanup utility. Next, we have to do a clean reinstall.

   

  1. Save mbam-clean.exe to your computer, and then run it.

   

  Note: Save your MBAM license ID/key in a location you can remember on your computer so you can enter them later.

   

  1. Follow the instructions to run the tool. When it asks you to restart your computer, click on the "Yes" button.

   

  After the system restart, download the most recent Malwarebytes version. Once installed, the program will run without problems unless there are malware issues. In that case, you need to download and execute the Malwarebytes Chameleon file.
