Most RC plane are powered by batteries and get their thrust mostly from propellers. This is fine if you want a simple, easy-to-fly aircraft. But what if you want speed? Like, 450 mph of speed?That's where the "Inferno" plane comes in. Instead of propellers, this plane has a giant jet engine that can get it to almost impossible speeds. Check out this video of the thing in action.While flying Tuesday, Messiter’s RC airplane lost power to its engine. An experienced flier, Messiter kept the RC away from people until he got his engine back, but by then it was too late. The RC plane hit the ground hard, losing a part in the process.
