Mintronics to offer 4M’s CAD and BIM tools in the UK

4M has partnered with Mintronics to bring its DWG-centric CAD and BIM software to the UK market. To get more news about cad architecture, you can visit shine news official website.

Products include: IDEA Architecture, for 3D & 2D architectural design, rendering, animation, 4D scheduling and 5D costing; AutoCAD alternative 4M CAD; and FineMEP, a suite of building services design software with separate modules for HVAC, electrical, sanitary, firefighting, gas network and elevator.

All of the FineMEP modules can be purchased as a standalone BIM system, or as a suite of products with IDEA Architecture.

According to John Minto, this flexibility is one of the main benefits of 4M’s software, “It offers tremendous advantages to contractors who may be specialised in one specific area, e.g. for the design of specialist fire sprinkler systems,” he says.

“Customers do not need to buy a full architectural software package which may include a whole host of unnecessary features they will never use, yet they still may need to connect BIM and require DWG 2D as working drawings.”

4M has been providing the AEC community with CAD & BIM Software since 1986 and has a user base of 30,000 customers in over 50 countries.

Mintronics is based in Darlington, UK and was established in 2008 as a specialist reseller for design and manufacturing software.
