Many car brands have announced their plans for 2022 and there are brand new models among them. There are quite a few of them, but we have selected the top 10 brand new cars that will go on sale in the US as early as the coming year, 2022.

These are either already presented or confirmed by models. Some of them will appear in dealerships in a few months, while others are known only for the most general information. One way or another, soon all these cars will be available in the United States.

Below are 8 best cars of 2022.

    1. Audi e-Tron GT 2022

The all-new 2022 Audi e-Tron GT uses electric motors front and rear to generate 469 horsepower in normal driving and up to 522 horsepower in 2.5 seconds with active launch control. This power is enough to accelerate a four-door car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

Even faster is the 2022 Audi RS e-Tron GT. It uses a different rear engine and has 590 horsepower normally and 637 horsepower with overboost. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

Audi estimates that the e-Tron GT will have a range of 385 km on a single charge, the RS e-Tron GT about 378 km. A leather-free interior using recycled materials such as Dinamica and Alcantara comes as standard.

Prices for new cars in the US start at $99,900 for the e-Tron GT and $139,900 for the RS e-Tron GT.

    2. BMW i4 2022

While the brand's previous offerings, the i3 and i8, were low-volume, the new 2022 BMW i4 signals electrification in one of the brand's core segments. It's essentially the electric equivalent of the petrol-powered BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.

BMW will offer its first electric Gran Coupe in two versions. The 2022 BMW i4 eDrive40 is a low-profile, rear-wheel-drive sedan with 335 horsepower. The base model of the i4 eDrive40 range has a starting price of $55,400 and an estimated range of up to 482 km on a single charge, according to BMW.

The higher trim of the 2022 BMW i4 M50 delivers 536 horsepower and a range of 395 km. The starting price of the i4 M50 is $65,900. The company predicts acceleration to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

The i4 should arrive in the spring of 2022. But you can already call for the leasing price of the BMW i4

    3. Tesla Roadster

According to a recent tweet by Elon Musk, the production of the second-generation Tesla Roadster should begin in 2023. The incredibly fast two-seat car was originally supposed to arrive in 2020, but this didn't happen due to the pandemic, mainly.

The new three-engine Tesla Roadster is a huge step up from the original Lotus Elise-based roadster. According to Tesla, it can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds and travel the quarter-mile in 8.8 seconds.

Tesla estimates that the range of the car is up to 998 km without recharging. Prices start at $200,000.

    4. Acura Integra

After a long absence, the Acura Integra will return to America's roads in 2023. The new model will be a sleek four-door hatchback, likely on the same platform as the Honda Civic.

Acura has released little information about the new car other than the fact that it will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission.

Sales of the latest Acura Integra in the United States ceased after the 2006 model year.

    5. Кarma GSe-6

California-based Karma Automotive will soon release its first all-electric car. Karma GSe-6 is a sleek four-door car with the ability to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a range of up to 482 km on a single charge.

Karma is basing the GSe-6 electric car on its GS-6 extended-range hybrid model. It starts at $79,900.

    6. Mercedes-Benz EQS 2022

The flagship sedan of the Mercedes-Benz EQ line will appear in 2022. The equivalent of the legendary S-Class, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS will initially be offered with rear-wheel drive and 329 horsepower in the 450+ model and all-wheel drive with 516 horsepower in the EQS 580 4Matic model.

A more powerful Mercedes-AMG EQS has been announced with a chassis capable of producing up to 751 horsepower in supercharged mode. The interior is equipped with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) screen spanning the entire width of the dashboard. The sedan is equipped with a high-tech air filtration system that allows you to clean the air in the cabin before getting into the car. Its "comfort doors" can automatically open when approaching the car.

Prices start at $102,310 for the Mercedes EQS 450+ and $119,110 for the Mercedes EQS 580. They are expected to hit dealerships by the end of 2021, and as early as spring 2022 at US insurance auctions.

    7. Dodge eMuscle

While other automakers are backing the electric revolution and announcing concrete plans for electric models, Dodge and its sister brands have been trying to figure out how to fit increasingly powerful Hellcat engines into more and more vehicles.

That should change in the next couple of years, with the brand announcing that a concept electric car will debut in 2022, followed by a production model called the Dodge Muscle. Whether it will be a four-door replacement for the existing Charger or a two-door like the Challenger is not yet known.

    8. Audi A6 e-Tron

Audi's growing e-Tron family of electric vehicles is expecting another member. Based on the Audi A6 e-Tron concept car, the production Audi A6 e-Tron will be a relatively traditional fastback sedan using the new Premium Platform Electric developed by Audi and Porsche. The concept includes several technologies that are likely to be included in the production model, including a twin-engine design.

The official characteristics of the production car have not yet been made public. The concept boasts Audi's estimated zero-to-100 km/h acceleration time of fewer than four seconds and a range of 700 km on a single charge.

The new Audi A6 e-Tron will reportedly debut in 2022, with production starting in 2023.
