Here is a matter of the ages: which technique/theory to employ, traditional, or modern? There is actually no simple answer to the question. Let’s read out the facts behind this.

Education is fundamental for human’s social and economic progress. It diminishes poverty, disease and numerous other societal ills, like war and hunger. The increasing costs of education and the liability of school loans are partly responsible for the continual controversy about what kind of education brings the most outcomes. Some claim that a college education offers little to organize students for the place of work as compared to a practical certification. While others insist that education is a lot more than a way to a financial end.

    Traditional Education:

Traditional Education is also acknowledged as customary education or conventional education. The main reason of traditional education is to exceed the values, conduct skills and the social performance to the next generation which is essential for their continued existence. The traditional educational system appears to separate the children from society, contracting their communications to just their surroundings and physical neighborhood with a general routine and conventional approach to distribute information that the modern education somewhat overcome by developing the use of technical gadgets, textbooks and other illustrative materials in revealing the student to a universal vision of learning.

Traditional education  makes sure the evolution of a chestnut; a typecast way of learning whoever nothing new is revealed as the information-gathering means is missing and all at once, no data is there to collect pre-existing observations and therefore, the same type of knowledge and thinking is conveyed.

    Modern education:

Modern Education is very different from the traditional education. The education that is given in the schools nowadays is the modern education. Modern education educates regarding the skills necessary today i.e.: skills of science and expertise, the medical science etc. adding up to listening, the modern education involves writing, imagining, imagining, and thinking skills. The method used for teaching is extremely interactive.

In modern education, information with regards to every issue; despite how old or isolated it might be attained using the internet. The weakness of the modern education system is that it is likely to be costly somehow.

Distinction between Traditional and Modern Education can be linked with an incomplete method of teaching and learning, which is only restricted to the resources available at hand.

Which one is better Traditional or Modern Education?

Both the kinds of education hold their specific importance. We cannot affirm any kind of education bad or good. The traditional was much better in its time and the modern education is more important in its period. In fact, it depends on the individual; what the person would like to learn. If he wants to study about his customs and religion, then absolutely traditional education is helpful for him. In contrast, if a person wishes to gain knowledge of science or mathematics, then modern education is the right thing for him. Both types of educations are similarly important. Traditional educated is sometimes linked with our society. And it is fine or it is important to become skilled at own culture. Everyone should know about their traditions, ethnicity and the beliefs of their religion. Likewise, it is similarly essential to get closer to the world with regards to the modern developments that are happening nowadays. This explains the significance of modern education. Modern education is needed to keep in touch with the entire world and to witness what is taking place in the world. However with the rising importance of modern education, traditional education is being unnoticed which is off beam. If we totally ignore the traditional education our culture will be wiped out. Nobody would have any information about their own civilization. We have to care for our culture for the upcoming generation. So, we have to find out what our culture is. For this reason, traditional education is essential.

    The Choice is yours

We cannot wrap up that which education is good since both the kinds have their particular significance. They are also similar to each other and different to each other. Modern education is innate from the traditional education. However because of modern education, traditional education is being ignored which could lead to losing our culture. Both, the traditional education and the modern education should be given equivalent importance.

Thus in the end, who wins? You are the critic: traditional education with its background and philosophy and severity, or Modern Education with its cultural applicability and results oriented outcome? What do you feel?
