Today we will introduce a Korean art school, which is built with containers. Yes, you are not mistaken, are you curious? Then let's take a look at this creative container school.

This art school built with tilted container art completely subverts the basic characteristics of the container structure and conveys such a message: no matter how good the system may be changed.

This striking black and yellow container school stimulates students' creative thinking and inspires them through their own artistry. This pointy container structure reveals to them the truth that creating awesome works doesn't need to start from scratch, sometimes you can reuse something in a different and fashionable way. Due to its eye-catching pattern image, the art school can be seen by both cars and pedestrians, thus becoming a landmark of Anyang’s urban structure.

Eight containers with a certain angle change were cut and regrouped randomly to create a large arrow-like volume 3 meters above the ground. This bold composition abandons the typical characteristics of the container, and the container parts are hoisted on the black pole to replace the original self-supporting structure. This sends a strong message to young artists that they are encouraged to think beyond the established system, even though the system looks good. The first floor of the shipping container structure makes full use of the existing slope terrain and provides a public theater for public gatherings and community exchanges.

There is a large open multi-functional area inside the container school. This area can be used as a conference/assembly room and exhibition hall, and can also be used as two studios for resident artists. The two northwest-facing walls on the front of the container school are cantilevered in the most dramatic way. The entire stone wall has only a series of small holes/tubes for peeping. Children and adults can enter the building from entrances of different heights, and the entrance frame shows the different surrounding landscapes, especially the nature and city moments near the block. The short sides of the container are full-body glass for natural lighting, air convection and landscape views towards the park path below.

The third floor of the container school has a long deck space extending to the Anyang River. The shape of the roof deck resembles a diving board. From its overhanging position, you can see the magnificent scenery. At the same time, two long benches provide a social place for people.
