What to do when my printer stopped printing?

    • Ensure there is enough paper in the paper tray and none of it is stuck on jammed in the paper feed.
    • Make sure to check your ink or toner level, it should not be below level.

    Remove all the stalled print jobs: 

    • For this, first you need to open control panel of your computer
    • Select devices and printers and then look for your printer
    • Right-click on that printer and choose see what’s printing option
    • From the opened new page, select printer menu at the top-right corner and then choose “open as administrator”.
    • Open printer menu again and this time select “cancel all documents” and for confirmation to cancel click on “yes”.

    Now, try printing again, if problem resolved well and good. If issue still persists, then move on to the next step.

    Set your HP Printer as default printer to see that you are not sending print jobs to the wrong printer. Let’s start: 

    • Go to control panel of your compute and opt devices and printers.
    • Right-click on your printer and simply choose set as default printer
    • To verify, you will see a green check mark below the icon of your HP printer. This means that now your printer is default printer for your windows.

    Try some Basic HP Printer troubleshooting methods to fix this issue:

    • There are some easy troubleshooting steps, which you can try in order to get optimum quality print if it stopped printing.
    • Check there is proper power supply to the HP printer
    • Ensure there is appropriate connection between printer and windows PC via USB cable or over Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure that the connected Ethernet cable is snug and attached properly.
    • Try unplugging and re-plugging power cable to see printer is on.
