Ni-hard Iron Castings can be produced in cupola, but for brands with higher chromium content, electric furnace should be used to reduce the burning loss of chromium, and Cr18Ni9Ti steel scrap can be used for production, which can reduce the cost.

The process is characterized in that the molten iron is superheated to 1450℃, the pouring temperature is 1350-1400℃, the linear shrinkage is about 1.8%, and the riser is used for feeding. The heat treatment process: for two grades with low Cr, keep the temperature at 450℃ for 4 hours, cool the furnace to 275℃ and keep the temperature for 4-16 hours (depending on the wall thickness of wear-resistant castings), and then air cool.

For high Cr grade nickel hard cast iron, heat to 750-800℃ and keep the temperature for 4-8 hours. However, attention should be paid to the heating rate in the furnace. According to the complexity and size of the wear-resistant casting, the heating rate is 30-100℃/h to avoid cracking of the wear-resistant casting.

Shenyang Gongda has focused on wear-resistant castings for nearly 20 years and has been engaged in various types of crusher accessories and other wear-resistant casting processing businesses all year round. There are three major series: high manganese steel series, multi-alloy steel series and high and low chromium series. As long as you have samples or drawings, we can make them to order.
