New information around the state of development to the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake continues to be divulged. Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase says in a brand new issue of Famitsu that 2016 is going to be a "year of preparations" with the game, which suggests there exists still many work to do be about the project.
"I believe that in 2010 will still be considered a year of preparations for FFXIV Gil Final Fantasy VII Remake," Kitase said when inquired on his 2016 ambitions with the game, as reported by Siliconera. "The Final Fantasy VII Remake, a different version on the 1997 RPG, is going to be released episodically.
