    Ishant Sharma is the one who is responsible for all the three highest scores made by a batsman like Alastair Cook, Michael Clarke, and Brendon McCullum against India.

    Ishant Sharma dropped the catch of Alastair Cook and he scored 294 runs at Edgbaston in 2011. He also dropped the catch of Michael Clarke and he scored 329 runs at Sydney in 2012. Again he dropped the catch of Brendon McCullum and he scored 302 runs at Wellington in the year 2014.

    In World Cup, Sourav Ganguly is the only Indian player to score a hundred in the knock out stages. Also, he is the only player to win four consecutive Man of the Match awards in ODIs.

    In 1975 World Cup Match, Sunil Gavaskar scored an unbeaten 36 off 174 balls chasing a target of 335. India lost the match by 202 runs. The match was between India and England, England set the target of 335 runs in 60 overs. Sunil Gavaskar batted throughout the innings and scored only 36 runs off 174 balls and India managed to score total 132 runs in 60 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

    23 cricketers made their International debuts in 1989, among which Sachin Tendulkar was one. Only once in his Ranji career, he got out for a duck. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar got him.
