This year's September issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed on Saturday that Bandai Namco Entertainment is developing the Digimon Survive survival simulation role-playing game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game's world will combine 2D and 3D parts, which is slated to ship in Japan in 2019.

In the overall game's story, Takuma Momotsuka is Digimon Masters Online Gold suddenly transported with a dangerous other world where brutal creatures lurk. Takuma is often a second-year junior high school graduation student, with his fantastic partner is Agumon.

The conversational parts from the game will likely be like anime scenes all of which will feature 2D illustrations. The development in the story and evolution during battle will be different depending on players' choices. In the exploration parts with the game, the keys for the story are scattered throughout the field, and players will investigate various destinations.

In the battle parts in the game, players will get involved in strategy game-style Digimon battles on grid-based fields. Actions will demand energy, and players will have to manage its use to win.

The "Digimon Thanksgiving 2018" event on July 29 should have a "Special Meeting and Latest Game Announcement" presentation through which the staff will advise you more information around the game. The presentation will commence at 6:00 p.m. JST and may stream on YouTube.
